I lap at your feet, welcoming you into my depths.Seducing your toes to step closer, wade further
It’s a cool day, and I offer warmth and comfort
Begging you to swim, even though you know
I know
That danger lurks with me
I entice your senses,
A single dance with the darkness
A sway into danger,
Can’t be that bad,
right?
First you give me your ankles,
I wrap myself around them
Beckoning you to come deeper
I take your thighs,
A refreshing
cool, warmth
send shivers up your spine
Ah, a joy that’s been neglected
Far too long
You lean forward,
And your warmth, life
Shocks me
As I,
the water
encase your body
Cradle you, comfort you
Like a child, youthful pleasures
Pleasures
you’ve forgotten
Your body flows through me,
Perfect harmony
The power of us,
we intertwine
I long to be a part of you
To be a part of life
I want you,
to bring
me alive
So I can steal this passion,
Make it my own
You dive under
A dance with me
Air and water mix
The beauty I feel
A human in me
Swimming in my waters
my dark poisonous waters.
I lap at your eyes,
Wishing to explore you
It stings and you exhale
I see my chance,
the open mouth
I dive into you,
like you dived into me
Searching, digging
What makes this man
so beautiful
so alive.
I am in your chest
I see the red liquid
Such power,
I’ve found
I taste you,
the purpose
the greatness -
a weakness
I cannot resist you, as you did me
I kiss your lungs,
mix with your blood
Swim into you
searching

Where is the soul?
The magic that drives it all?
Your heart is pounding,
So excited,
just like I
I stop
The cells turn black
recoil in shock,
Tangled within your entire being
Trapped,
I’m trapped inside
Far too much of me,
filling
every
hole
We are one.
You in me,
I in you.
I cry,
splash.
But I know.
We are one,
Blood and water mix
All the beauty I found,
Everything I wanted
I’ve destroyed

When I wrote this poem I was somewhat possessed by the idea- wrote it in sections - filling in the content as I went- adding spaces -sizing as I went - somewhat reflective of the chaos in my mind. I might smooth out that one part though

If you're going to smooth it out, thank you. It will definitively make me feel better. I will probably be reading this again in the future. It's so good, I can read it again a day later and still get the same impact and feeling I had the first time I read it.
But now I feel bad because it would be misrepresenting the vision of it in your head [chaotic] if you leveled it all out.

I smoothed out that one stanza - while it's chaotic it still needs to be understandable! I like it better like this. Might be looking at ways to build on this poem in the future. Not sure how- but I want to take the concept into a different medium- perhaps communicate more of what it represents in my head

This is just, wow. The imagery in this poem is so effective and unique, and the whole thing is full of astonishing imagination. It really drew me in, and it told a short, gripping tale. I think that's what poetry is all about. Well done, you should really be proud of this, it's a beautiful piece

i used to want to die by drowning, they say its peacful.
i dont believe that, they say that your scared and its horrible until your senses are gone, until your about to die and you have accepted it, but the moments before would be horrible, not peaceful at all.
i think it sounds perfect, the best way to die, but thats a disguise, what it really is, is a suffocating, crushing force, that leaves you with no escape
falling. now thats a way to die.

People say it out of comfort and a lie ... I'd rather hear the truth ... even though he didn't feel it, drowning was his way, and for him it's beautiful because I know he didn't feel a thing.
Falling sounds more ampt, like a grand adventure gone wrong. I've never thought about how I would want to go, I just want it to be beautiful, if death can be ...
(ps .. you may have just inspired a poem, I never thought of drowning that way before)

yes, i know falling does seem harsh, and like an adventure gone wrong.
but have you ever been on a trampoline, and fell from the highest point you jump, straight onto your back, and the time it takes you to get there feels like bliss, you feel weightless, and the sky is an eternal amount of shades, and you see everything about the sky in that moment before you hit the tramp and bounce back up. I think i want to be an ld grandma, sky diving, and 'forget' to pull the cord for the parachute, turn onto my back, facing the sky, and just fall. because i will have lived my life, and i will accept it, i will be happy, and in that moment before i hit the ground, it will be bliss, i will see my life flash by, i will see the good times, the bad times, and i believe it would be perfect.
amazing, just the feeling of falling, at a terminal velocity of 10ms-1. (physics XD) and just having that feeling of wind rushing past, your life rushing past.
thats how i would like to die.
