Truly, chaoticson has been one of the most patient, consistent people I've ever encountered on the internet. They've followed me through two accounts, have always been super nice tome, and back when I was still drawing tons of Steven Universe- Well, they were awesome to me then too. It's hard to find people who are willing to interact with your content, but this guy
is one of a select few who's just... the best.
Anyway- I just wanted to do this little piece of his gem character, Apache Tears. She's got a really soft design, and her abilities have to do with taking in negative energy-
That's what sort of inspired the expression and pose I chose for her-

I had long since forgotten about this Gem, and that angers me.
I also haven't been able to talk with you as much as I had hoped, nor write or draw much of anything, And that upsets me.
But one thing is for certain: you too are one of the selecto few I consider the best on this site, and I'm glad we got to meet each other.
The picture's nice: totally what Apache's reaction would be if she ever saw... Well, anything.

After going through the stuff I'd already posted, I realized we'd talked about doing a fusion of Eerie Pearl and Apache Tears-
It's been a long time since I've done any fusions, so I felt like I should try and draw a gem before jumping back into it, but I've
noticed also that I don't think I've ever gotten one of your character exactly on model XD I swear it's not intentional-
And 100 percent, you give me way too much credit- I wish I was more consistent, and easier to interact with considering how genuinely

I don't know why I felt compelled to draw her looking so spooked- I guess I imagined taking in negative energy made me think she feels
something from that energy, or perhaps psychically reacts to really potent negativity? Like, I imagine a battlefield would be the best and worst place
for someone like Apache Tears...
