Note: the final result of this picture was a bit rushed, I am not sure what time zone the deadline is so I wanted to make sure I submitted it! Even though the art may not be the best, I am still very happy with the result and I'm so happy how the kelp forest turned out, overall I am very pleased with this!!!

Note 2: originally my entry was going to be digital but it wasn't working out for me and I wasn't going to do an entry but after experimenting with some traditional drawings (that I haven't finished/posted yet), I decided just this morning to try a traditional entry... let me tell you I'm so glad I did!! I find it a lot easier to get the shading right doing it traditionally
