A shot of four my own character for my own project, at this point I don't really have a proper title for it but since it's inspired primarily by the modern middle-eastern world alongside our own world today I decided to name it temporarily "Project Sand"Here I decided to paint four characters that have been on my mind for a while, some of you might know them.
From Left to Right:
Eliza - (9 yrs) Younger Sister to Aazim and Saul and the middle child in her family, she's thoughtful and resourceful. A main POV character.
Aazim- (12 yrs) Older Brother to Eliza and Saul, He's the most outgoing among his siblings and a close friend to Noomi. Another POV character.
Noomi- (11 yrs) A smart, bright young girl, she has a cheerful outlook and is quite mature despite her age, A close friend to Aazim.
Ramzi- (12 yrs) A quiet, reserved young man, an officer in training with a sense of responsibility, A close friend of Eliza.

Well, I guess the simplest explanation is that, it's my take a on coming-of-age fantasy story, a revisionist take of the fantasy genre.
I wanted to tell a story about a family of five (father,mother,two sons and one daughter) that gets separated after a life-changing event, and how each of them not only tries to find each other, but grow internally as people and find their place in the world. they'd have their story to tell sort of live the POV format in Game of Thrones, but at the end of the day its really about people, and the tried and true lessons of tolerance, honor, dignity, faith and love.
It's something I wanted to do for a while now, but I figured might as well just start and do something, otherwise it might be too late to say some meaningful at all.
