Sorry for the huge gaps of time between my fractals! Because of school and life, it will probably be like this for a while. Anyways enough about me, I am really excited to show off this piece because I feel like it shows a shift in design for my fractals. I stumbled upon this merely by chance. I was following this tutorial on spherical Jscopes by plangkye when I decided to delete a transform just for the heck of it. My jaw immediately dropped once I saw this. I made a few tweaks (changed gradient and added the lights) until I felt things were "right," then turned things over to chaotica for a nice smooth render. I finally finished off with a few touch-ups in photoshop (there was an annoying artifact I couldnt seem to get rid of in apophysis)Hope you enjoy!
