it just doesnt seem fair to me....
because Gemma is completely normal...Mrs.Nightwing & Brigid arent in the same group as Ann, who is one of the four, and shes a girl and it doesnt seem fair tht you would draw her tht way, it wasnt very funny, maybe if tht were another hated character but anyways im not trying to hate, i cant draw like that regardless.

Trust me, I deffinately get where you're coming from. I'm a total feminist myself and think that judgement based soley on physical appearance is sickening. (That's why I'm a fan of this series!)
But I am also very stubborn, and will happily defend the way that I chose to protray Ann!
The reason you feel that I'm crossing the line with Ann is because of that "image" thing, right?--The fact that she is described as "plain" in the book and I made her "ugly"? My reasoning behind making her such a droopy-looking cartoon was not because of her appearance but because the general sense of gloom she gave off when she's being introduced as a character. Initially, it was her depressing habits and way of speaking that caused me invision her as the character that is reflected in my comic.
And that's what this comic is--my thoughts on the book, not some anti-feminist subliminal message! I respect Libba Bray this series to the upmost, but this comic is not meant to be taken so seriously.
