im working on a sketch that has Derpy in Marine armor from Starcraft and a decal on the shoulder that says Muffins or Death XD. ill upload it when its done. if i go out tommorow im buying banana nut muffins in honor of Derpy. i dont like that they wanna change her name. you know? no matter what they call her in the future i will always call her Derpy Hooves. and i also dont want them to correct her eyes, theres too much Β political correctness in the world

I wasn't happy either when they changed her voice, too.
I mean it's not like she is retarded or disabled or anything, she is just different from the standard background pony, she is unique. Also, I think keeping her the way she is after the fandom fell in love with her was a shoutout from the producers to us, the fandom, that afterall, they make the show for us, and not quotes or anything.
If they really change her, that would mean breaking this special bon between creators and fans, and I don't think that's a good idea.
