I am 100% turning this into an animatic....Unfortunately I don't have a YouTube channel so expect a 3 minute very long video file sometime in the near future, probably in January/February....

I'm also probably going to make a fanfic for this idea on Wattpad. Idk

So the basic idea is that when the NG are in their late teens (the majority of which being 18-19 years old), a huge rat outbreak occurs (kind of like the Black Plague but definitely not that much XD) in Adventure Bay and Adventure City. At the second the rats are spotted coming into Adventure Bay from practically killing everyone in Adventure City (I'm kidding lol, Liberty's safe, only like a ton of the population died, not that much), Ryder tells everyone to go to shelters immediately and cover any small holes. Ryder, Katie, and the PAW Patrol current gen and next gen are making their way into the Lookout right when the rats are sooooooooooooo close. Everyone manages to get in, Zephyr and Skye barely make it, and Brooklyn - well - I guess you can take a guess.

Yeah, the rats got her.

She was attacked and almost died, thankfully Chase, General, Rocky, Ryder, and a fretting Zephyr and Oak grab her and get her inside before anything worse happens. She's got some nasty scars and a torn ear, and she almost lost an eye, but she's in one piece and she's surviving, however she goes through major depression and even suicide attempts. Eventually Ryder, Chloe, Rocky, Oak, Zephyr, and Violet help her get out of that (she still goes through depression slumps every once in a while though, even as an adult).

Chloe was the biggest help for Brooklyn, since mama had gone through her own depression slump at a young age after her mom died (that would be Brookie's grandma), and soo yeah then empathy.

For the rats, yeah, Adventure Bay and Adventure City citizens had to relocate to Foggy Bottom, which they did not like at all, even with Mayor Humdinger voted out of office (he would've been pretty old anyway).

For the actual situation in the picture, I figured Oak or Zephyr (the two ones she's closest to) would be comforting her a few months after the attack. Very nice, you two beanies

I love my baby Brookie, I love this story for her - it's great for character building
