Description
If you like this poster, please consider buying me a coffeeHere is a quick teaser poster for the second part of IT, with the older Loser's Club.
I was inspired by suggestions I saw online, while others were my own picks. I haven't read the book by Stephen King yet, so these casting choices are solely based on my knowledge of the characters from the 1990 miniseries and the 2017 movie.
PATRICK WILSON as Bill
I feel he is one of the most likeable and personable actors working today. He also has genre credits such as INSIDIOUS and THE CONJURING, so he would fit seamlessly in this Stephen King adaptation.
STERLING K BROWN as Mike
I only saw him as Chris Darden in AMERICAN CRIME STORY so far, but I thought he projected real intelligence, which would be a good match for the role of a librarian interested in the history of Derry.
SCOOT McNAIRY as Eddie
I saw his name pop up on other "fan casts", and—while I'm not familiar with his work—he looks like he can play a slightly sheltered yet strong character.
HUGH DANCY as Stan
I originally had him as Bill, but I switched him for Stan, based on his performance in HANNIBAL's first season, where his character is emotionally and physically manipulated.
BILL HADER as Richie
Suggested by Finn Wolfhard who plays Richie, and I think this is a truly inspired choice. Hader's whole comedic demeanor feels like a true continuation of Richie's.
JOHN KRASINSKI as Ben
I never watched THE OFFICE, but I saw this suggestion online and it felt right. He seems to have the same charming, slightly awkward qualities than his younger counterpart.
JESSICA CHASTAIN as Bev
Probably the most popular suggestion I've seen, based on the fact that Chastain is a great actress, has worked with the director previously in MAMA and—as a bonus—already has red hair!

Where's Scoot Mcnairy? I can recognize everyone you named except the dude behind Sterling, who most definitely looks nothing like Scoot. (I'm a big fan of his since HaCF)
Is it just me or is Hugh giving out a Jon Snow vibe?
Also not to be nitpicky but it's Patrick WILSON.

Oh wow, I can't believe I wrote Patrick "Watson" and never noticed! I guess I was thinking of the singer from my hometown of Montreal with that name
Yes, that particular picture of Dancy does look like Kit Harrington! And Scoot McNairy is indeed the one between Brown and Wilson. I can't find the exact picture that I used, but here's a similar one for comparison:

Cool! I love the touch of Pennywise's shadow in the background, it just makes everything a tad creepier!
Great cast choicing BTW!

Thank you! Pennywise's silhouette was actually part of the teaser poster for the first film, which this is a continuation of:

fantastic casting choices but why do I feel like Seth Green should be adult Richie?
