Description
I saw this very cool Cadillac hearse in the back of a local funeral home. I want to be in this for my "last ride"!Related content

If you ever offer this as a print like your other pics, I am VERY interested!

Hi! I went and had it offered as a print. I am glad you like it. That car is from a local funeral home. I see it out occasionally.

Nice!
I see your other cars as prints but not this one unless I am losing my mind.

I had it set as a print and many others too but a while back for some reason DA removed them from my print selection. I had never reset them because no one was buying them anyway. DA does weird stuff like that from time to time.

dA is about on my last nerve at this point. Ugh.
But if for some reason it's a print again, let me know right away and I am on it!

I submitted it as a print and when I look it says it is for sale as a print. When I click on the different types of prints it displays them with the price.
Note: If you go to the DA print shop and do a search using the word hearse it also shows up there.

*looking at the file title* The problem is that if you´re LYING on "the back seat" you´re not alive enough so as to learn to enjoy it... X)

This is like my dream car. Practical and badass.
Also way more unique than a porsche.

The ultimate station wagon/panel wagon! You could move an entire family into a new house with one of these. The higher roof and longer body compared to the sedans from the same model year really help the storage capacity. Plus there's the spookiness associated with hearses, so nobody would even think of breaking into it. That's practicality, right there.
Definitely need me one of these.

That car has style, but forgive me if I see it painted white with a Ghostbusters symbol on the door.

Entirely wrong car. Also, that would severely lower the resale value of the car.

True. It "reminded" me of it though.

I almost got a 1955 Caddie hearse from Ebay for $3000 and it looked about as good as this one, minus a hit on the passenger side.

Back in about the mid 1980's one of my buddies had one of these as a daily driver.
Most of our friends were too creeped out to ride in it.
I could- as long as I was drunk!

I had a girlfriend who had one but she had to get rid of it because of the gas mileage.

I understand.
Back in about 85 that wasn't much of a concern.

The wrap-around windshield was dropped for 1961 in most Cadillacs but the top-of-the-line 75 Series and the commercial chassis (hearses, ambulances) carried on with it for a few more years.

Yes, that's a proper hearse! Looks like 1963. Did you know these have a special turntable inside that allows the casket to be removed using either the side doors, or the rear door?

No. No it does not. While Miller-Meteor did have that as an option for most models for many decades, this Funeral Coach clearly does not have that option.

Yes, I've seen that on one at a car show. It also had front and back air conditioning.

Wouldn't it be too late for the person in back to know if it had AC ?

Cool. I've seen one with three separate aircon units, one for the front, two for the rear! (For warm weather use, obviously)
