As he watched the Inquisitor on her throne, the lives of countless men and women in her hands, he could almost see the darkness looming over her. It was eating her alive--Asala had never wanted to lead the Inquisition. She just wanted to be alone, she just wanted peace.
After all this time, he could finally see the weaknesses in the walls she placed around herself. He wanted to give her that peace, even if it was a fleeting moment of it.
