I don't think it's vain at all.
I'm not going to lie, I have one of almost each of my designs.
It actually helps promote if you have your own artwork. People
ask about the shirts/where you got them, you can be like
"Hey, I actually designed it, they're available here." and hand them a card.
lol.
And if it IS vain, well then just call me Lady Narcissus.
