Hehe, I just noticed Mr. Gameandwatch CX I don't know much about him except that he's in a game and is a playable character in SSBB.

He is from the line of Game & Watch games that came out in the early 80s, if you want his background story. All of his attacks and moves are also based on the different games that Nintendo released, such as Chef (his standard special) and Fire (his Up special).

Oh, that "Silver!" Haha, I was thinking it was him (the rival in Gold/Heartgold, Silver/Soulsilver, and Crystal I think?) but I couldn't remember his name

You'd be correct. The G/S/C rival's official name is Silver, to coincencide with the male protagonist's name, Gold. xP
