Foreword
Hello there, today you will be reading Minecraft Story Mode: World Of Chaos. I first came up with the idea for this in 2014, but I ended up very dissatisfied with the original version, so I ended up putting World Of Chaos on the shelf for three years. But around 2016, I got to really like a video game called Minecraft Story Mode. And that's when it came to me. That was when I decided to bring back World Of Chaos, and make it a part of the vast universe created by Minecraft Story Mode. Then, on July 6, 2017, I sat down at the kitchen table, opened the notes app on my phone, and started typing. I'll remember that moment forever. And so I went through many edits & sleepless nights to create the version that was to my liking. And now, in February 2018, I present to

It’s actually 13 before MCSM 2015. Petra wears Laura’s hand me down clothes, and uses her old sword. That was a very good guess, though.

Yeah. It takes place just before The Old Order Of The Stone fakes killing the Ender Dragon. During the events of World Of Chaos, Jesse & Petra are 4 Years Old. The sequel, World Of Chaos II will take place 2 years after MCSM 2015.

Yeah, I did my best to try and keep WOC in continuity with MCSM 2015, but that was before MCSM 2, and I had already made the story for the sequel, so I just decided to have it as part of a separate timeline from season 2. I figured that would be easier.

That’s fine. You don’t have to like it, and I’m not forcing you. It was just some stupid little story I made when I was bored, and I wanted to add something to the MCSM lore to make it deeper and more vast.

And also, i really want MC:SM More Open than deeper... Because the way MC:SM was made were to be more open... A Lot of jokes and adventure...
A Lot of fanarts make the Arts very deep feeling and a lot of Anxiety and more... Now it looked like SU... With a lot of Crying and deep feelings... And that is not my style of a cartoon show...
Don't get me wrong, i didn't "HATE" Steven Universe... I just don't like it... Mkay..? ._.

I get where you’re coming from. I guess I felt that the MCSM series needed emotional weight to it, and it seems I overdid it. I wanted my story to be taken seriously, and it seems I failed at that too. I wanted to make something new & original, too. Luckily, the sequel will dial back on the dark tones. Sorry I couldn't make something better.
By the way, I assume you’ve read MCSM:WOC if you know this much about it.

Well about the Emotional weight... They did very nice in season 5 !!
But they didn't make Jesse cry a lot like SU... Steven always cries because of the past like a lot... Jesse just sad... but didn't cry... He's a turtle boi/gal !!
(Sorry, im just hate when a cartoon/show/games cries because of something in the past)

The way I see it, when you really enjoy a story, weather it be a video game, book, or movie, you want to expand that universe. What happened with World Of Chaos was, I wanted to explore the dark tones and emotional weight explored in the original game. (example: Ellegaard/Magnus's death, Reuben's death) Now to be perfectly clear, I wasn't really that interested in Season 2 of MCSM all that much (because of Middle-earth: Shadow Of War), but I felt it had some interesting things in it, which I might explore in World Of Chaos 2. And I wanted World Of Chaos to show the darker tones & emotional weight that I felt Season 2 was lacking a little. Now if you like Season 2, I've got no problem with that, cause people like what they like, and there's nothing wrong with that. We all have our own fanfics and renditions of the MCSM universe. And the beautiful part is that no two fanfics are alike. Every MCSM fanfic I've read is so original. A lot of my inspiration came from JRR Tolkien's Lord Of The Rings trilogy, and I thought to myself, "What if MCSM was kinda like LOTR?" And the end result was World Of Chaos.
