Thanks for your comments. If you look at my gallery you will see that I generally draw using a method called "Pointillism", which is just hundreds and thousands of dots. By changing the density it creates shading. So in the Peas in a Pod picture, I sort of did the opposite, whereby I used pencil and shading on the subject and pointillism in the background. I was very pleased with the result, as you pointed out, the dolphins almost look 3D.
