"An astronomer once peered into their telescope, in a far off star system, next to a supernova they saw something strange, a web like pattern that spanned across some of the planets and moons, something unlike anything they had previously seen. This pattern was a sign of the amalgamate infestation that had escalated in the star system to planetary levels. If one were to fly through there, it would be like flying through a three dimensional spiders web, pillars of the black amalgamate matter stretching into space, reflecting the stars around them. On the surface of one of the planets the sky would be a disorienting view, like a canopy of tendrils stretching far above, the light from the sun and stars reflected in strange and unusual ways and seeming like they were constantly shifting and moving about."
