Very nice blend of colors! I have issues with my use of strokes. Do you have techniques to recommend when converting from line art to "pure color" strokes (ex: the missiles and shield, but also the highlights on the anthro's skin)?

Heyo! Yeah, the game is a tactical card based board game. The game itself is played in the playing field with the octagons and cards are placed and can move in those octagons.

I played tactics games like FF tactics, Disgaea and Tactics Ogre before, but playing tactics with card element is something new for me and that would be cool, I guess I'll give it a try when it is available.

If I were to illustrate one, I likely wouldn't go with an action shot such as this one, but one that would show their power through the environment and their demeanor. I'd imagine them being quite strong, but they'd be more like a sage or teacher type of figure.

It looks like a magic spell had gone wrong, or he is fighting a wizard/warlock that has been consumed by the dark arts (this is not a Marvel reference).

I like to imagine there is some kinda red mage on the other side casting a kind of shotgun blast of small fireballs, or raining down a massive Armageddon of cinder.
