"While it is known that the nether and ether cannot interact with one another without something bridging them both together. Inside the nether however one is as vulnerable as can be and it is believed that if one would die in the nether, they remain there forever. Dying is perhaps a bit fickle word to describe the event, as to someone looking at the person who is channeling their mind into the nether it would simply seem as if nothing would have happened. After awhile they would notice that the person would have become completely still and stiff, all signs of life would have escaped them. The uninitiated would think that leaving the nether would be a simple ordeal, as, to put it in simple terms, it is just a imaginary space. Anyone who has had thoughts which they simply cannot get rid of can attest however, that escaping your mind can be far more difficult ordeal than escaping a physical space.

A word about the geography of the nether. It seems like a vast plane with black mountains and crevices dotting it. The ground beneath resembles cracked rocks, but its physical properties change without reason from hard to soft to liquid. Inside the crevices and the across the ground, streams of bright purple energy can be seen flowing upwards. Flowing tendrils that seem like viscous smoke prevent sight into the horizon. Above the sky is a perpetual bright gray with a magenta tint to it, and instead of clouds there are the smoky tendrils which stretch up above. On initial visits there moving about is difficult, it is as if one has to put great mental stress to even will the muscles in your body to move. This becomes easier the more time is spent there, but at the same time, leaving the nether becomes more difficult."
