PRDF. Now if there is a shadier section of the police force I don't want to know about it. At first they were kinda like the new area 51, only a few people claimed to have seen them and there was a whole bunch of rumors circulating around them, others said they are the kill squad used as plan C when things didn't go according to plan, some said they are the result of government genetic experiments that failed and others said they are just people in some sort of exo-suits. Suppose all three of those could be right at the same time, I mean their masks do look pretty real, right? That is unless you actually believe those crazy people who think those aren't masks at all, and are their actual faces, haha, ridiculous, am I right? Well, reality tends to be more amazing than fiction. However, they did turn out to be real, as a lot more people started seeing them around the country, mostly during riots that had taken a turn to the violent. They would show up in these large trucks, these massive, at least 9 feet, no, 10 feet tall dudes, all clad up in some pretty heavy looking gear. However, soon after people started seeing them more often, they would gain a quite the reputation due to their actions in these riots. Videos of them just straight up killing people who have been "arrested" suddenly started surfacing on the internet, causing quite the uproar about them, further throwing more fuel to the rumor mill. People began demanding the government to explain the origins of this group of officers and their purpose. However all they would give us were just some speeches about " how they are classified, and how they couldn't discuss them any further".

We would later on get to know more about the PRDF once one person on the internet claimed to have gotten his hands on one of the suits the PRDF officers use. It was heavily reinforced and thick, having metal plating around it to protect from gunfire and stab wounds. No robot parts though, so there goes the mech-theory. But by far the most interesting aspect of it was the tubes that attach to the wears head/neck. They would deliver some sort of a chemical cocktail directly to the wearers bloodstream. The person who found the suit was kind enough to extract the liquid that was still in the small tank and try it out. The things people do to gain attention on the internet. Nothing was heard of him on the day he was supposed to do the testing and most people thought he was just lying all along. However he posted a video 2 days after he was supposed to do the testing, apparently he had consumed all of the liquid from the tanks and seemed very confused on his video. In the video however he explained how he was having a strong headache situated on the back of his head and that how he needed to get more of that liquid, despite a lot of comments, he did not mention anything what the liquid actually did. He was not heard of after the video and he seemed to stop posting on the forums he frequented. Turns out that the liquid was extremely addictive and seemed to have some side effects. Some people say they have heard of similar liquid being involved in some urban stories about some creatures in sewers. But what does it actually do? What do they gain from using it? It felt like that video left us with more questions than answers.

Last night I took part in a riot. My curiosity had peaked about this elusive PRDF and I needed to see them in person, so far I had only heard about rumors and seen horrible shaky cam videos of them, but last night I was determined enough to go outside and take a part in a riot that was situated in the capital. They were rioting due to some changes in public transit or something, the prices are too high, something like that. Of course I had no guarantee that they would show up, but I had my hopes up. As luck would have it, once the cars started getting flipped, I saw an unmarked black truck stop behind the police barricade that they had set up. There was no question that this was the PRDF once I saw a hulking goliath step out from the back. Just one though? I was expecting something more. But then again, I would be lying if I told you I wasn't intimidated when he or it walked past the barricade. He didn't even carry a gun, at least as far as I could see and only had this steel baton in his right hand. The volume in the crowd went down considerably as more people noticed him and began moving away from him. After the initial surprise people got loud again and began throwing rocks and whatnot at the police barricade. Then suddenly, at the press of a button, spikes jolted out of his baton as he bashed the first person in line from the barricade, instantly knocking him down. A ruckus broke out in the front line and people began dispersing. Some tried to help that poor person up but they were also struck down by him. As the crowds began dispersing I got a better look at him. While he was beating the people I swear I could see a grin spread up on its face. I could swear its face looked much livelier than a mask, but if it isn't, then just what the actual hell is that thing, I refuse to believe it is a robot, because that would be just ridiculous, but so is the thing I have in my mind right now.
