this was a commission for bansheedragon over at fA of their character. There is some background story behind this involving foreign planets and soul crystals. This was a challenging piece to draw thanks to all the details in the scene.thanks for commissioning me!

Damn TF, I absolutely LOVE it when you draw these dark lab/experments/monster pieces! They just always end up looking so damn awesome and epic! The attention to detail is through the roof! I absolutely LOVE how the dragon looks too! You really did an amazing job drawing it! I just love the design and the colors and how big it is! It has a really cool anatomy and green underbelly and fins! Really awesome job dude

Indeed they do! I also like the composition; the beams makes you focus even more on the eyes from a viewing standpoint, making them feel even more intense. Again, great job!

Oh there actually is no transformation going on in this scene. That blue thing on the ground there that the dragon is covering was actually inside that broken vat behind the dragon.
