I've had this joke stored up for a while, but never had a reference for yellow diamond until the SDCC extended intro. I did this in mostly black and white since I didn't want to take too many liberties without the proper color palette.This was made back around when the extended intro was shown, back when yellow diamond had a normal-sized neck.

Well, personally, even if it does end that way IRL, then most likely Nickelodeon (or in the very least, Viacom) would probably sue cartoon network for ripping off one of the scenes from spongebob (but that would only be if they also took the audio from the spongebob squarepants episode of which was the source).
But legal stuff aside, it would probably end up being somewhat funny, at least.
