Actually, the game is pretty much ready for it's previously stated release of fall. If you actually read the other comments, instead of jumping to be obnoxious, you may have noticed the quote from the main developer of the game that I have pasted at least twice.

Fine, sorry for not reading about 3 of the 25 comments, but I am just absolutely sick of it when anyone gets so pissy over how something got delayed. As long as it is not canceled, you lose absolutely nothing. And here's the thing, the game will probably have some extras and more polish thrown in, because the hardest thing for a game designer to do is to let their game go. Unless, Sony pulls the team off of the project sometime later on, which I highly doubt, so you will still get some extras/polish. Just wait about 6 months, because we do have a pretty light Q1, what with nearly 20 AAA titles coming out, which is smart when your game needs to sell 2 million to break even *Glares at THQ*. Also, how did you interpret obnoxiousness as my intention? I wasn't one of the commenter who just typed in all caps and recycled the same rage over the very notion of a delay. Somehow you forgave everyone's blatant fanboyism as a normal reaction to this "catastrophe", but making a joke at the expense of them, that's just obnoxious? I request a detailed explanation of what exactly was wrong with making a joke, and how I am the only one getting shit for it. Yeah, it might have not been a good joke, but at least it wasn't me just rewording the same damn statement like 80% of the commenters. Fucking sorry for being different, because that is obnoxious.

Well, you see, your tone was that of Somewhat rudeness. Obnoxious may have been the wrong word, and I apologise for that.
"How dare they delay a product to insure its quality and that it lives up to the source material! ...Wait a tick."

Sure it was a joke, but it was rude in tone, as you could have very well said something along the lines of,

"It's alright guys,with this extra time, they'll probably be able to include a bunch of extras and new stuff."

See how that response is sensitive to those who are disappointed or unhappy with the push-back? When people are already unhappy, the last thing you should be doing is poking fun at their distaste.

The sly fans have been waiting 7 years for this game, and for someone like me, who wants it more than any other material item in the world, being so close to that fall 2012 release window only to have it pushed back to early 2013, is like getting a punch in the face. And you making a joke at my expense, not to mention everyone else's expense, doesn't help.

I don't mind if you have a different opinion, however your delivery of said opinion is what what got me on your case.

I understand that, and I was harsh in your response. I have a problem with offering empathy and, to be quite frank, I am often a prick when I am not targeting an individual directly. I was annoyed with how you called me obnoxious, and I am man enough to admit that I am very self-conscientious I get annoyed when wake up to find out that I was insulted. I blame me for not knowing a lot about the fanbase, and I understand the desire to see a beloved series return.
I was a bit insensitive, and am used to being in an environment where it is clear that I am just messing around. Whenever I try to be overly brief, I tend to miss a lot of details that really shape my opinion, and often need to reply with the context, ruining the bit of a joke I was making.
I was harsh both times, and I do apologize for not being clear, and behaving in a manner that I do not consider to be rude, but others might. So let's just keep this water under a bridge, shall we? *Licks your face like a dog would and makes you feel uncomfortable and confused.*

I believe the june dates were filler dates. It was supposed to come out in the fall.

Mat kraemer, the lead dev of the game said that Sanzaru didn't push it back, Sony did because it would "better fit their release schedule"
