Description
This was a piece done for my Design for Illustration class at CCAD. So far my instructor's really been digging my work so I figured if I was going to try to start again here (I've learned SO much in our time apart) I'd start small and begin with something done for school.sketched out, then rendered in Photoshop with a limited palette of 5 colors
The inspiration is traditional ancient Japanese artwork combo'd with the works of Chiho Aoshima

Yeah it's definitely wandering into new territory, but it was fun and hopefully will help me grow more XD

I wonder what its like to study illustration now, back in my day computers were very basic, we had Macs at university but we only had one lesson(in the whole 3 years I was there) and that was to move around type, back then I had no idea i'd be painting with a mouse within 10 years.. hope things are going well
