Description
I've been wanting to do this for a long time. RB has, in the past, given you all a cheerful thumbs-up, but I wanted to try it again now that my artistic skills have improved somewhat and her costume has been changed to its current style. This one was not easy to get going on, it took me most of a work day to get the rough lines down, and at least one full erase and redraw. All in all I think it turned out really well, I really picked up speed this morning when I forced myself to just do the shading and final lines on her far hand. This one did end up being a lot of fun in the end, though, I greatly enjoyed doing all the loopy swirly lines and curls and coils of her body. Trying to keep her torso anatomically accurate while being stretched WAY out of shape was a unique challenge!
Let me know what you think, I love to hear your feedback!

Thank you for your comments! I always enjoy reading your feedback. I do believe I should draw RB doing a giant fist punch in the near future, it sounds like that would be a fun change of pace from the perspective drawings. I was originally going to draw her waist connecting to her hips and legs somewhere in the background but I decided against it and so I've got her just stretching her middle so that her legs are out of the frame.
Really glad you like the neck stretch! I had a TON of fun drawing that, in particular.
And again, thank you so much for the feedback

I know what you mean. A lot of the time it is much easier to just draw one shape instead of complicating it into multiple limbs and body parts, I generally try to avoid simplifying things when it comes to RB's stretching powers if I can. I like the challenge of drawing out all the anatomical detail as it's distorted and pulled out of shape, I think it's a lot of fun.
I'll have to give a try to her punching walls or using her fists as wrecking balls at some point, I think it could make a really exciting and fun drawing. Her head and/or face could get stretched out in the future as well, that'd make a really interesting challenge!

This is just so well done. I love it when artists take the time to drawn looping stretchiness in such a way you can follow the loops and it's not just randomly stuck in.

See me being a stickler for details would not allow me to ever do it any other way. I think it's very satisfying to see where all the loops and curls and coils and bends go, it makes the character seem more solid and real so I try to do that. Thank you, also, I'm glad you like it

On any other character that'd be pretty obvious to answer but with RB I guess it's not always so apparent! She's stretching toward camera, so it's just perspective. I'm still learning how best to do perspective, it's really tough to do right with pencil and paper because you can't move things around and fiddle with it, you have to get it right right off the bat!
Also I am glad I am not dead. I might only be barely alive on my golden throne but I am STILL ALIVE!

Nah, no worries. I'm definitely still learning how best to do foreshortening, it's not something I'm still trying to get the hang of! It's a big deal for RB in particular because it can help make for some SUPER dynamic pictures!

Thank you very much! It is fun to look back and see the previous one from years ago to see how much progress has been made since then.
