Description
Here is a lil' (hehe) size reference for my new candies! They are all made from polymer clay by me, Blake!
EDIT: * I thought it went without saying, but just to clarify- I do INDEED make all of my own canes. I never purchase pre-made ones because I enjoy the challenge of making my own! *

Ok, first. They looks awesome and jummy. but you are requesting a critic so let me start writing why i have qualified you the way i did.
I suppose your vision was successful 'cuz yup, indeed you did get the citrus story, with lemons, limes, oranges. but i think you could made them a little bit different from each other.
Another thing it's that, all of them are made in the same way, the same technique. I think you use those little pistols (don't know how are the called XD) you push it at the back and then cut the slices one by one. Again i think that if you should made some little different between the fruit they will develop in something more outstanding.
The impact i got was great, i mean, i love the little and minimalist sculpts! and this one is so tinny ! Directly to my fave, but with the other arguments, the value decrees a little.
To finish, remember this is a critique for you to improve your art. It's not like i'm just criticizing you because i feel like it. I hope my words helps you and were what you were looking for.
I'll be waiting for more minimalist art from you!

Through a process known as caning!
I basically make a big piece of candy and then reduce it down to this size! ^^

Hahaha! I just barely made it! I took frequent breaks and did extra yoga to keep from getting stiff!
It's actually pretty meditative!
Yay! That's so exciting! Good luck on your canes! I still have a few more I want to make! xD

Do you end up with a bit of waste at the end from the end parts of the cane? No matter what I do, I always end up throwing away a little bit and it drives me crazy. >.<
Yoga is fantastic. I recently started doing it last week and it's a great way to unwind.
Thank you! I ended up making about 8 different types of Christmas mints and candies tonight. Managed to find a quicker way to make them so it'll save me a bit of time.

Yeah :/ At first I had A LOT of scrap clay, but I end up with less each
time I make another cane.
That's great! I have been doing it for a few months now and it takes
away basically all of my stiffness from sitting at my work table all day!
Yay! I can't wait to see them!
