Description This is on of the first botiques I made, 5, 6 years ago or so.

I really like the image of kid on a hill, looking at the stars. Symbolic of potential, I think. I feel that the youngest children have the most potential; it dissapears with every choice we make, paths we walk away from...

Babies always amaze me that way. That little girl there, in the pink-knit stocking cap, eyes unfocused over her mothers shoulder, she could be the next Hitler. Or the next Mother Terasa. Kind of awe-striking.

It's a botik/boutique. The fabric is waxed, then dyed, the waxed part doesn't absorb dye.
I did a more complex one on Malcolm X posted here somewhere [link] , with multiple colors- waxing, then dying a light color, then waxing more, dying a darker color, etc.
