Description Prague is a lovely city. This picture doesn't show it, but it has it's share of ugly underbelly left over from the Soviet period.

This is wonderful but I don't know why. I have a lot to learn about this type of photography.

I'm glad you like it. I'm not sure why I like it either.

I know for sure I like the sepia tones - wouldn't look right any other way for me. Also, it is leading you into the light. Kinda nice... It looks as if you are on your way somewhere - the journey is not done - and you really don't know what awaits you, so there a mystery about it.

I suppose most Eastern European cities have something ugly left over from the Soviet period. I'm surprised Budapest looks as good as it does. I've not spent enough time in Prague; really liked what I saw, though.

Oh, this is beautiful!
I like the way the light pours into this scene.
The way it reflects of the white stone (Marble? Or whitewashed stone masonry? Idk.) of the floor and splashed itself into the recess of the archway and deflects off the walls and wooden double doors.
A masterful shot, if I ever saw one.

Thank you so much. I really set out to try my hand at some architecture shots. I'm still working through them. Some I'm satisfied with, some I'm not...I'm saving my favorite for last

That sounds like a good plan!
One of these days, I'm gonna need to make a Grand Tour and see the sights of The Old World.
Although, I may wanna skip Rome.
I hear it's always a sardine can in Summer.
Or practically every other season, for that matter.

I've heard Rome is amazing...

So have I.
The reason I wanna skip.
If everyone and their brother is there, it's gonna be more likely that I lose much in the tourist realm.
I'd rather avoid the tourist traps...
