I've decided to put some of the photos I took whilst hiking on DA, because damnit they look nice and so therefore can be considered art. Pokémon pictures will resume VERY shortly, don't you worry.

When you're surrounded by such mountains and wonderful scenery, it's hard to get a sense of scale. The small, from far away, becomes the immense up close, and it's not uncommon to consider your surroundings both infinitesimally small and overwhelmingly gigantic at the same time. It's only when you have something man-made on the scene that you can truly appreciate how endless it all really is. The tent bottom right - also my accommodation - serves that purpose here.
