Description
I was planning on doing this closer to the end of the year, but my choices for the pictures wouldn't change between now and then anyway. Plus, I've already seen people start posting theirs, so I thought why not.Well, another year has passed. I don't think this year was as drastic for me as last year was. Last year, I was when I really started to actually do drawing, while this year was just me picking up where I left off. I didn't improve as much as I did last year. Actually, I'm not even sure how much I improved this year. It doesn't really feel like much...I guess that could be attributed to how little I actually drew this year. I mean, ALL of the pictures I drew this year will fit on the first page of my gallery. I didn't even do a single picture in June (and actually a few other months too, but I was able to pick pictures close to it)....It would be nice to be able to draw faster...And my biggest regret this year is that I didn't practice enough...I really should have, and I feel bad not doing it.
Also, can you tell that I still haven't settled on a style? I'm sort of disappointed that that is still true...I hope that some day I'll find a style I'm comfortable with...Until then, I guess I'll just keep mixing it up.
I figured it would be interesting to mention certain pictures I did this year:
So first, my favorite picture! Hmm, it is hard to pick a favorite when I usually end up neutral to most of my pictures. I don't know why...It would either be the Remilia picture (November) or KageWaka (December). The Remilia one was pretty fun drawing, and I feel like I might have gotten some good practice with soft shading. KageWaka was a lot of fun to draw as well, and I actually do like the way it turned out.
Next, the picture I improved the most on. Maybe the Yukari one (May). Before that, my soft shading was horrible. This one actually looked better and has influenced the other pictures I used soft shading with.
And finally, the most interesting picture. I would probably say October 27, 1962 (October). It is probably the only picture in my gallery at the moment that has any actual meaning. The rest are just Touhous or fat bellies (or both :3cc). There was a more interesting one that I am working on, but I have too much else to do to work on it right now. It will probably be done sometime in January (or late December if I'm lucky).
Alright, I think that is it. I hope you liked at least one of the pictures I drew this year and that I didn't scare too many people away with the fats ;w;;;
