So, what started as me trying to prove Kip wrong, turned into me proving myself wrong on the subject of Meiling's pants.

On the left is a screen shot from Embodiment of Scarlet Devil and on the right is Meiling's official portrait in Perfect Memento in Strict Sense. I did some additional research and found that Meiling was given pants in the fighting games because ZUN didn't want her to be "indecent", which is understandable.

I had never looked carefully at her in EoSD, but I have seen the pants'd version of her in the fighting games. I guess I have incomplete information about her.

I didn't want to admit it, but you were correct Kip.
