Happy Halloween!Well.. I have not been here for a bit. I plan to more regularly upload stuff here now that I have regained some motivation. I don't know if I want to do such big 'projects' such as this one, so maybe my next works will be a bit simpler.
This piece took me way too long to put together. Partially because I took a break from it for a long time, but also because after that break I basically started over from the sketching phase to the end. In the end I am not super proud of it, but I do kinda like it.
This is also my first piece I made using Krita, instead of Gimp, which I used before this. I can say Krita is a really good program for digital painting stuff! Somewhat steep learning curve at first, but once you get the hang of it, you will learn it really quickly.
Thanks to the people who are still following me and the people who actually 'Watched' me during my time of absence! I can tell you for sure there will be some fun pieces here in the future that you will like for sure.
I will upload the speedpaint of this shortly, I just finished this piece earlier today and still have to edit the speedpaint video entirely.

overall this looks really nice, but i think there's a few things you could improve upon. from your other artworks, i see you don't use airbrush tool much, but here, i dare say you went a bit overboard with it. i appreciate the blurry effect on the tree in the foreground, but there are so many other smudgy areas that hurt my eyes if i look at them too long. especially the highlights, i understand what effect you were going for, but in general i don't recommend using airbrush for anything, really (it's a messy tool that just makes everything look dirty, but that's just my opinion)
i also think you might have gone a bit overload with the amount of stars in the sky. because of the overabundancy of stars and the coloring across the sky being more or less the same, there isn't really a feel of depth, so it looks more like a greenscreen image, rather than a three dimentional background.
that said tho, the colouring and linework and the pokemon look all really nice, so even though there's stuff you can improve upon, i like the result overall~

Thinking about that airbrush comment made me think maybe it's better to just use more hard edged brushes to avoid the smudged look and yeah that works really well!
The stars in the sky was just something I threw together quite quickly from another piece, so that really could have used some more care
