drawing here, but I think she looks like a halarious caricature of herself.

You might not like it and to me you have explained why: Her face expression is too tame for her character.
I've been thinking and now I can come up with a theory: She looks this "tame" and less lascivious AFTER finally getting together with Hercules and marrying him. Maybe then she acts more like the loving, caring wife and less like a manflirting tool, I guess. This could be a wife portrait for Hercules or something.

The art itself is so pretty, I find the color scheme, the pose (again) and details like the vines soooo pretty here
