Schnecken sind so unterbewertet... es sollte mehr solcher Zeichnungen geben.

The simpler drawings are always fun. You don't have to do much to really get a satisfying result.

Fun fact: when a snail's heart beats, it poops.
Haha. Really fun drawing. I always have trouble drawing creatures with eye stalks. They're pretty tricky.

I just love the style you give your drawings, no matter how simple or detailed they are.

Watch that shell, you could poke an eye-stalk out!
Looks like some sort of sea-snail with a shell like that actually, I remember finding similar ones at the beach

Snails with a 'door' on their butt are mostly water-living snails Land-snails can mostly close their house with a slime that gets hardand let them stick at the place they are.

I heard that land snails can remain "plugged up" in their shells for years Guess that's good if wet days don't present themselves that often in some climates

Landsnails produce their slime to survive that, while water ones actually dont do. Obvious when sourounded by water the whole time.

Lol, I was even about to say "producing slime seems pointless underwater anyway"
Yet so many sea creatures still feel slimy

Dirk: Before I can draw the snail, I must study the snail! I must observe the snail! I must taste the snail!
...I must be the snail!
