"Rango" was a very interesting film with an interesting concept, and this, sir, is an interesting fan-art piece with some interesting things about it!
First off, I really like how you've played off the things seen in the movie: the wind-up toy fish, the doll torso, desert, feathers, beat-up hat, match, cactus needles, etc.
You also caught a lot of the visual quirks of the titular hero here, too: his freaky eyes, curly tail, scale pattern, tiny teeth, and even his Hawaiian shirt. I can imagine Johnny Depp's voice coming out of that mouth.
The coloring and little details in this look great as they do in your previous pieces.
Overall, great tribute piece to the movie- very quirky to match up with the quirkiness of an animated movie about a identity-confused reptile pretending to be a gunslinger- kudos!

Just saw it today. The textures and the colors in this film. The character designs...LOVE that they didn't try to make the characters "pretty" they really went all out with the feel of the desert with the roughness of them.
NOW TO THE ARTWORK: I love to see your rendition of characters. You really kept with the design of the character and film but made it your own. Well done!

Went to see it last night myself, Def an awesome and unique take on CG animation, and no golfball eyes which had to have tickled you pink haha. love this piece as well you really captured the character and the spirit of the film well. there should be a rango jam.
