Having been deprived of paint recently it was great to be back home and get my hands on them for a nice flowing watercolor. I find them therapeutic.I'm not a religious person but i do find religious stories fascinating and i enjoy trying to depict them differently from time to time - this was my attempt at depicting Adam and Eve (the first humans in Christianity) and the point where Adam is tempted by a serpent to take forbidden fruit from God's tree. There have been a number of interpretations over time of this story - while i don't think poor Eve was all to blame the idea of her and the serpent being one appealed to me.

Beautiful work! The colors really pop out, and their body language and facial expressions say so much. A wonderful interpretation.
