Do you have any tips on using colored pencil? And tips on getting ideas?

for color pencil, do you mean like shading?
and i randomly draw i can't think of ideas or it won't really turn out right, but sometimes music helps ( ALOT )

Ah i see. And yeah, how do you shade and do lighting? and what if im shading cyclones fur? shes white, so do i use gray to shade it?

For the shading and lighting i mainly use one pencil and i press harder on the paper to make it dark and i pess lighter to make it lighter till it reaches white. and i'd say yes for the grey ^^

well my style of coloring and drawing changes every time i get new paper, so i never use a certain kind. and how long well it depend on the level of detail i put on it.

A bit blurry but its all good. I can still see your a great artist even thought your scan can't capture it.

This looks like a great traditional piece, From what I can see, it has nice lines and coloring.
But the scan/photo seems blurry, and that's a little bothersome.
If you photograph your art, I would suggest you use a mini tripod or keep your elbows against something to steady it more.
But other than the blur, this looks great.
