Description
This is my first time making a tutorial, it went on longer than I intended but I hope it's useful and was able to motivate people to continue their drawing instead of quitting halfway.Special thanks to RadiantDreamer, and Spades for all their help along the way.

Sorry but I have to be honest with you on this. The content was too good and your tips was very helpful. But I was too distracted with Comic Sans MS I had to stop reading. Maybe you think it's just me and my stupid hatred towards this particular font, but do spend some time to read this article to understand why I can't take your tips seriously. [link]

Now here's one thing I'd really like to point out from your tutorial. I know that drawing appealing and interesting subject (not just for you, but also for others) is important. I noticed that every time you mentioned that you ask for your friend's opinion and advice, you end up redrawing your line art altogether. Based from my experience, sometimes it's good to have your own sense of confirmation. A great artist should know what he/she likes. Sure a third party opinion is important, but it's not as important as the artist's preference (in professional case, editors/clients preference). Besides, you gotta ask yourself at the end of the day, what is the purpose of you drawing this? Is it for your own pleasure of drawing or is it to please others?
I personally love Step 2 and Step 4 line arts so much if I were you I'd have two variations of them by now (even though in step 2 the tail could use a little bit of a fluff-up fix). In production & creative process, there's always a time where you can ask others' opinion, and there's a time when you finalize your line art (and tell yourself yep! this is what I'm going for! Others have no more say because this is my creation!) before you start coloring, or else you'll end up redrawing everything all over again (and I understand how tiresome that is) and spend unnecessary time redo-ing stuff.
TL;DR: You're the artist, take control of your decisions. Sometimes it goes right, sometimes it goes wrong. We're only human and we can only do so much mistakes until we master everything.

This is absolutely fantastic. I still don't understand half of how the process works but the end result is very good, and I'm glad you're looking to friends for help and advice! A second opinion never hurts... usually!

actually, that paint over was heavy influence from you. i noticed how you choose to paint over everything and still look nice, so I thought I'd give it a try on what you do. it turned out different than expected, but in a good way though.
