I picture that has been in the making for ..I guess 5 years now.I started [link] way long ago..
At my internship where I used photoshop extensivly this was my project when not doing
other tasks like paperwork and such.
I didn't want to put this picture on DA till it was done.. I still don'tconsider it done .. but I just don't know what to add ... so I guess it's Done in a way.. ohh well enjoy

That looks great. I'm impressed with all the detail you put into the inside; it looks realistic/believable; if mechs were real, I mean.
Kinda looks like a video game.

I like the sunset and the silouette in the distance with its back to the sun. It adds a lot of anticipation...like something explosive is gonna happen.
For critique...I think the details could stand to be sharpened out more. Not the darkness, but that everything seems a bit fuzzed and faded, especially on the hands, which could be a real focal point. Otherwise, that's all I can really say. ^.^ Just my opinion.

as for alot of the details that are fuzzed there are some factors that were gogin against me on this one... First of all I'm lazy ... ok now that that is noted it's hard for me to make things sharp becuase of my painting manner ... I use the blur tool photoshop and mixed light and dark together or color together... I'm really bad at picking the right color to start off with : ) .. so basically you only see the end result of me moshing colors together for a long while, after i get it what I want it.. I smudge tool the whatever I was working on back into the right porportions... as for the hand.. I'm bad at humans period. The center left screen and the keyboardish thing under the left arm I both want to be redone.. but again.. lazy.
Ohh and btw you nailed it directly. this is 100% inspired by mechwarrior, I was a fan of light mechs *raven* and some mediums *bushwacker* , I've always enjoyed the reverse jointed leg structure they have so that's what I used here, though the mech I drew aren't of any particular pre-existing model that I know of I believe

Way cool... bit sketchy around the edges, but the colors and mood are very spot on. I like the coke... nice detail. The rough feel of the art style and deep colors reminds me very much of older games, but I like it. Kudos.

hah. this is awesome indeed. reminds me of the original Wing Commander games. That soda can is a nice touch.
[For Critique] It seems the forearms are a "fist" or so too long. Or if it was thicker at the elbow, the perspective may be more convincing.

It appears that the image seems overall darker then what it was in photoshop... So I guess I'lll correct it now
