yup TheCrayonQueen said that Geno became Error.

i always thought it was odd how after Error had his Lucidia redesign, he suddenly acquired the scarf, which he didn't have before when he just looked like an Error'd Sans. Even after explaining that he was Geno I still thought "but where did the scarf go?" In this story when Geno became Error he threw off the scarf whilst corrupting and so there is ONE SMALL RED PATCH where the corruption did not spread...

...and so Error keeps it stashed away in his lair somewhere and probably forgets about it for random periods of time... but sometimes he comes across it and either it triggers the memories or else a bad day triggers where he hid the scarf.... either way, when he has it he spaces out...

...does not acknowledge Blue, just paces about until the awful memories fade and he returns to being 'Error' and he stows it away again... sometimes he feels good after that time holding it... sometimes he feels bad. He'll either hide it well so as to bury the thing for good or else he'll hide it well to keep it as safe and secret as possible.
