Ok.after seeing the new "charlie and the chocolate factory" trailer starring johnny depp... I really wanted to draw veruca salt from the old movie
she was such a brat... a really bad egg
anyway, this girl is turned out way older than I planned. I blame the fact I was flipping thru a victoria's secret magazine to find a pose. eh -_-

Hm, that sounds likely.Β The term "bad egg" is a similar figure of speech as "bad seed".Β They called her a bad egg in the 1970s movie and a bad nut in the book and 2005 movie.

Wonka: I always thought that a veruca was a kind of wart that you got on the bottom of your foot, isn't that weird?
I personally liked the new version better because in the old one besides Veruca, the kids didnt seem that bad, in the new one all of them except Charlie were just nasty.

I have to say, I liked the egg thing better than the squirrels from the new movie (even if they were in the book). So I was very happy to see this!

OMG! i saw that preview in theaters, and... i cried. seriously. that preview scared me SO BADLY... my eyes are watering as i type. i can watch the passion of the christ without crying, but charlie and the chocolate factory trailors make me sob... 0o nifteh picta! ^_^ i likes it alots! i wish i knew how to properly use traditional media... i don't like doing it digitally so much.

i saw the trailer and my first thought was "how bazaar" it certainly looks quite odd/darker/different than the old one
i wonder if this new one will have oompah loompahs? i didn't see any on the preview ???

all i remember was johnny depp with huge freakish googles that scared me a whole and the song going "willy wonka! willa wonka! the amazing chocolateer! willy wonka! willy wonka! everybody give a cheer!" and at one point johnny depp (i hate typing out the whole name, but i don't feel like i should call him just by his first name, and calling him 'depp' is just weird) going "chewing gum is really gross, chewing gum i hate the most."
but there should be oompa loompas. i dunno how you can have the movie without them! :-P

lol! yeah, you have to type out the whole johnny depp name. John Travolta lives here in my town, and ever so often he is spotted out at the mall and stores and stuff. (my brother got to meet him!) And ofcourse everyone refers to him as John Travolta... you just cant call him by one or the other either.. same with johnny depp... lol
I love that part at the end where he sing the chewing gum line. its just so 'off'

She was bad, but I loved her! Whenever I was being a brat growing up my mom woudl call me Veruca.
