Synopsis:
ASCENSION, often referred to as the Infinite City, extends endlessly in all directions. It is a home to both magic and technology, myth and man. Eve, a powerful Guardian, has returned after vanishing for five years to find a part of the city plagued by a mysterious string of disappearances. Hannah, a close friend of Eve's, is pulled into the conflict, and finds herself grappling with this unforgiving city, and the labor of living and aching.

i like this chapter a lot! But if i can tell my opinion, i think there's useless panel in here, such as the panel when eve said yup, i think maybe you can make one panel instead where hannah said "that's very nice of him" and eve with sighed face, showing her ignorance? That's just my opinion so if you think it's wrong please just ignore it hehe
What makes me like this chapter is the character's interaction and its plot's pace for not too slow or too fast, keep it up! Can't wait for next thursday!

Regarding the synopsis, "[...] returned after a five year absence to find the city plagued[...]" Since the city is endless they can't have actually left, so shouldn't it be something like "district" instead? Or does the city loop like a planet? Then the notion of absence doesn't make sense though.

haha you're absolutely right. I meant absence as sort of a disappearance, or a no one knows where she is scenario, but I should clarify that to either "part of the city" or "district. Thank you so much. I didnt catch that!
