I understand how it funs up posting pictures on facebook, but some people just take a picture of something and go all "ooh so artistic"

I completely agree. I also don't like how people think they are professional photographers cause they know how to use Instagram. I'm amateur at best, but I keep learning and try new things and try to seek out critique. My 14 year old neighbor, who uses instagram for everything, actually told me she's so good that she's considered to be a professional by people's standards. THAT'S what I hate MOST about Instagram. A lot of thought actually goes into photography. It's not just randomly clicking a phone at everything. Sorry... But I love your picture. I do love the vintage look. What program do you use, anyway? I'm poor, so I end up just using photoshop, but I know there's things like Lightroom.

I use lightroom because there are so much more options for your RAW image than in photoshop, try to play with the light in your picture and experiment a lot.

Actually I totally would, but I'm working off my friends computer and he's a butt about downloading anything... INCLUDING PICTURES.
