Fallout 4 teasing ! Because the name has been registered by Bethesda ( Finally ! Eeee !), and a website (hoax or not) called TheSurvivor2299 has popped up ! thesurvivor2299.com/
Are you guys excited ? Because I sure am ! Can't wait to see the countdown reach zero and Bethesda officially announce the game
Update 7th of December 2013.
- TheSurvivor2299 is a FAKE. A masterpiece, a bloody good fake, but a fake nonetheless.
- Thepropheteer was a fake too, but that was predictable from the start, even if it was brilliant too !
- Bethesda told us to cool down for the VGX, nothing would be revealed this time.
...but the game is still coming. I can feel it !

Aw cool, I'm the first horse result when looking up Fallout stuff.
The story behind this, for the ponies anyway, is that there is a large subculture dedicated to a fanfiction (don't puke, it's actually fairly good), in which the pony world is nuked with magic, and they emerge year later after surviving in big vaults...etc.Β
The image itself was drawn because most of my audience here on deviantArt likes ponies, and I was excited about TheSurvivor2299. The truth about the hoax hurt a lot.

I totally understand that cartoon horses aren't everyone's thing, and I'm guessing you were looking for common Fallout pictures wen you stumbled upon this one. yes, this annoys me as well, same as when you're looking for mass Effect pictures on google and can't scroll two lines without finding ponies. Yes, that's annoying.
The thing is, just ignore it. There's not much you can do about it anyway. There are times where I'm looking for porn, stumble upon futanari pictures, roll my eyes and carry on, because girls with dicks aren't my thing, but it's not like i'm going to put a stop to the movement.
The other things is that ponies just fit well with almost every other series/show out there, and it's fun to mix things up. As far as I know, Todd Howard hasn't announced ponies in fallout 4, so you should be able to enjoy it just as much as every other title in the franchise.

Yup, but it's undeniable that there IS a Fallout 4 being developped right now. All bethesda teams are said to be working on a big game, which is not a new series, not an elder scroll...that only leaves fallout ! I bet we'll see more at E3 2014.

So far I'm not sure how much I like the idea of the protagonist narrating the intro instead of Ron Pearlman. I think it has the potential to affect the freedom you have to be whoever you want to be, part of the fun of fallout (especially the old fallouts) is making any number of characters with their own idiosyncrasies and having whatever they do be completely canon. For example if you wanted your character to be a complete brain-dead moron who does things like yell "ICE CREAM" at robots for no reason, it would seem a little uncharacteristic for them to narrate the intro with any degree of competence. Still, keeping my fingers crossed, I'm pretty exited andΒ I really hope to see a trailer soon.Β
