Spike and Rarity are relaxing under the tree while the wind is blowing after a long day of having fun.Materials used: color pencils.

Its a perfect/simple drawing and its desreves to be featured.I like the way the tree is detailed and I love the way it doesn't drown itself in details such as shadows,background and how original it is.Opps Rarity has no ears,I hope the author does an update correction seeing the author is the biggest crituque of their work.These kind of handmade pieces are becoming a rare thing with phototshop & digital CGI being available to the public and should be praised.Never forget the master who never had PC's to create the classics like the Mona Lisa.Bravo & Encore to you as an artist.

First of thank you for the kind words, what you said represents exactly what I was going for, secondly, *face-palm* I knew her mane looked a little bit weird, now I know why... Unfortunately I can't correct anything right now as my scanner isn't working properly.
And yeah, traditional artists are definitely becoming scarcer.

In the intrest of being useful and honest, Rarity looks a little annoyed. I belive this could be fixed by bringing her lip line up just a tad more so it resemble a smile more then a bemused :l
It is adorable though.
