Description 3rd in the portrait practice series using Attack on Titan characters is Armin Arlert. I had fun with the lighting/colors! Struggled a bit with the overall structure of the face, since he's supposed to look quite feminine. I decided to move on, too. D:

1st was Mikasa
2nd was Eren

I actually never thought he looked that way, but I think the way you drew him actually fits well with the way we see him in the anime/manga! Very well done!! I also still love the lighting and how you paint hair!

Thank you so much for your lovely comment again <3
Haha, whether or not Armin is supposed to look feminine is an ongoing debate among fans!  The author intended him to be a her at one point, then decided to go with a boy who gets picked on constantly for looking like a girl. I think the manga isn't the best place to judge masculinity/femininity, however... since even Mikasa and Levi can look the same at times, and Hanji's sex was always a mystery until anime came around lolol.
Judging just by mere words and descriptions, he's supposed to look feminine that he can be mistaken as a girl, it becomes more obvious further down the plot, I think.

Do you read the manga as well??

Wow these are all things I had no idea about! I'm just not at all part of the fandom. I kinda got used to liking things but staying away from fandoms themselves. I was once really about to read the manga but after, like, one chapter I had to go to sleep (it was past midnight) and I never saw it again, maybe I should have? I just know I like the anime, but everyone always says mangas are better!

Haha I think they are both really awesome! Anime has much better art for sure, though XD
I totally agree on the fandom part, I only become aware of things when I do my researches for my fanart. Fandoms tend to intimidate me with their super strongly worded opinions.

I might check the manga soon enough, after all I don't know for sure when the second season will come out!

Yeah, sometimes people just don't know how to get along and especially in really big fandoms I tend to feel more left out than in any other. I just like to think that by making fan art and all I'm already contributing in a positive way to the fandom, avoiding any conflicts with anyone. It's supposed to unite us but somehow we always find ways to fight and divide each other. I'm no longer sure if we either can't help it anymore or if that's just what we look for. Anyway, I can't let this turn into a super long rant!! haha
