The illustration I demoed for Wacom and ClipStudioPaint Japan Online Week is finally done! This piece turned out vastly different than what I had envisioned initially, but that's what's exciting about art for me.

I love illustrating matters that are personal to me, but I wish to leave this one for your own interpretation. From a technical standpoint, i wanted to experiment with a "flatter" look, which stems from Ukiyo-E. It was a real challenge to pull back from detailing and providing the subjects more form, as it would distract from the look I was aiming for.

This was an incredibly fun piece and I'm so thankful that the Clip Studio team gave me the opportunity to share the inspiration with you guys. Thank you to everyone who attended the event and showing your support for the piece throughout. I'm so very lucky.
