December has been a relaxing month for me and I was able to dive back into art and studies. I realized I'm lacking in so many departments with my art and not experienced enough in writing. Both needs to a lot of work still in order to eventually tell this story that I've been working on on and off through the years.
Sunshine Through the Willow Tree tells the story of The Crimson Warlord's mysterious rise in power amongst the five kingdoms governed by the demi-gods.The 7 protagonists, top to bottom, left to right:
Liu Ge Yi 柳革異 - The Crimson Warlord
Yang Li Yue 楊鸝月 - warlord's wife
Min Rao 敏嬈 - warlord's concubine
Li Wu Dang 李武盪 - warlord's second in command
Liu Wen Yun 柳文蘊 - warlord's brother
Zhang Tai Xi 張鈦熙 - The Blacksmith
Xiao Hei 小黑 - Tai Xi's pet(?)

I want to practice paneling some alternative universe, light hearted stories with these characters before attempting the main story. There is so much more to designing a page that I've taken for granted when reading manga, it's scary diving into it. But need to start somewhere... right?
