Description
An art trade with CreeesArt. Super super honored because he's an amazing ink artist that I always looked up to <3We both are huge fans of Monster Hunter so I did zinogre for him and he's doing Nargacuga for me \o/
This is the first time I tried ink wash and it was a very fun experiment. Waterproof ink, waterbased Tombow marker and a bit of gold paint!
A print can be purchased here Hand signed and embellished with gold paint!

Holy monkeys, that is some quality artwork right there. The blend of hunter and monster is top-notch, so much so that I almost didn't notice her at first.
Very well-done (steak).

You are very welcome. Thank you for sharing your artwork. Always happy to see the work of talented folks, especially since I'd be too poor to afford it if it wasn't free.
Cooking steaks is a true test of a hunter's skill and passion. To master the meat is to master the hunt itself.
That or it's just fun to hear the exclamation "MMM! SO TASTY!" Who can say for sure?

Mmmmmmmmm SO TASTY <3
Also, in all honesty, it's comments like yours that really push creators to keep creating. People sometimes underestimate the emotional support of a detailed comment and appreciation. Thank you for taking the time to look at my art. You're helping me as well <3

Thank you so much. <3 And you're welcome.
Honestly, that's why I leave long comments. I grew up with artists in my family, and with friends who were artists, and... well, I was surrounded. I learned a lot of terminology when I was young, and I learned that artists appreciate something a little bit more detailed than "Good job!" (even if it's nice to hear that). That was reinforced through years of competition and feedback on my own work, and, so, here I am. I do leave short comments sometimes, because I know that they do mean something, but I also make certain my first comment to any artist is a longer one, and that I give them another when I'm truly impressed by something.
I'm certain, having seen your gallery, that'll be pretty often for you.

They really really do! I have friends tell me that they never really care to leave a comment because they don't think artists read them, I'm likeΒ Β

In fairness, they probably think that because most artists don't reply to most comments. No replies means they think people don't read, and so they don't comment with substance, or sometimes at all.

Yeah for sure! I know there are plenty of artists that don't reply even if they see it and appreciate it, and I'm like......... that's why people stopped commenting lol. It goes both ways for sure. I do think once people get to a certain stage, it becomes difficult to respond to everyone because it takes so much time. I actually was really surprised when I first started digital art and Sakimichan responded to my message. Def came as a shock.Β

It does, indeed, take a lot of time. Time is always the factor that keeps people from so much. A real shame, but such is life.
I'm very tired, so sorry if this comment doesn't make much sense.
