Description
I started off inspired by the jimmy eat world music video work, where there is a giant tree with stuff hanging from it. I made the grass brown and the guys suit brown to depict the boring-ness of daily life. The dead tree has stars hanging from it which are the souls of the people that never made anything of their life. The guy is looking up because he realized that there is somthing above the clouds that he could get to if he tried to live his life to the fullest. The ballon is sombody that has allready escaped and is heading off into space. Hope you enjoy

really nifty illustration, really cool concept (the stars on the tree are especially original). I love the colors.. I think with the sky that color though, the sun might be closer to the horizon.. something about those light rays throw me off, although it's a fun idea (cue angelic choir).
