Description
After watching Catch and Release, I came to the conclusion that Peridot is basically Emerald from PokeSpe. Evidence:
-Both have gem-themes names (as do many other characters in their respective stories)
-Both have predominantly green color schemes
-Both have green gems in the center of their foreheads
-Both have oddly shaped yellow-ish hair
-Both use prosthetic limb extensions to aid them in combat
-Both are abnormally short without the use of said limb extensions
-Both use something precious to other main characters (the Earth/Pokemon) primarily as a tool and a means to an end
...and probably more that I can't think of right now.

PS, the weird differences in art style with the two/crappy art was mostly due to me using this to test out some new markers I got.
PPS, I think Catch and Release probably made a certain person I know very happy. , I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it.
